When you think about reading the bible, what is the first feeling that comes to mind?
For me, I feel apprehensive. I'm not strong in scripture, and I often don't understand the underlying message. Thankfully I have a husband who loves scripture, and gives me "Bible Stories with Caleb" sessions that make learning fun.
How do you feel about reading the Bible? Let me know in the comments!
There have been times when I really get something powerful from reading scripture, but it is a real struggle. Learning to deep dive into a verse has helped but my mind tends to wonder and want to learn more about the context and people involved and how they were feeling and then I end up loosing focus. I am glad there are people in our world who are able to understand scripture and help those of us who have a harder time :)
